Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
8 -12 oz Pasta
Pat shrimp dry and season with salt and pepper.
1 lb Shrimp
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add garlic. Cook for 30–60 seconds until fragrant.

Add lemon juice, zest, red pepper flakes, and reserved pasta water. Stir to combine.
1 whole Lemon, 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes, 1/2 cup reserved pasta water
Add cooked pasta and shrimp back to the skillet. Toss until evenly coated.
8 -12 oz Pasta, 1 lb Shrimp
Stir in Parmesan cheese and adjust seasoning as needed.
1/2 cup Parmesan & Parsley
Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.
