Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Shrimp (peeled & deveined)
  • 8 -12 oz Pasta linguine or spaghetti
  • 1 whole Lemon (juice + zest)
  • 4 cloves Garlic & Pantry Items (minced) + Basics
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan & Parsley + Garnish
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup reserved pasta water
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • to taste salt and pepper to taste
  • to taste Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish) (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.

  • Pat shrimp dry and season with salt and pepper.

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.

  • In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add garlic. Cook for 30–60 seconds until fragrant.

  • Add cooked pasta and shrimp back to the skillet. Toss until evenly coated.

  • Stir in Parmesan cheese and adjust seasoning as needed.
